COSTA RICA STUDY TOUR (TRIP FULL- STANDBY AVAILABLE)
ECO 6958/ECO 4955: Costa Rica Study Tour
Tour Dates: May 4 - 11, 2012
Tour Location: La Fortuna/San Jose, Costa Rica
Trip Cost: $1,990
Pre-trip Meetings: April 14 and 28, 2012
This tour takes place the week between Spring and Summer
semesters. Course requirements include attendance at 2
pre-trip meetings, attendance at all tour visits, and 2 short
writing assignments. No formal lectures or exams required.
The trip visits multinational corporations, local businesses,
and government institutions to learn how firms operate in
Central/Latin America. The trip includes a trip to a mountain
resort including a thermal hot springs, volcano, and
agricultural farms. Trip fee includes airfare, high-quality
accommodations, luxury ground transportation, tour guides,
admission fees to national park and hot springs, all company
visits, breakfast each day, and 4 group lunches/dinners.
